Transportation Coordination

  • Communicate daily with carriers to secure equipment for material delivery.
  • Collaborate with customer service to monitor shipping requirements and performance.
  • Utilize systems like TMS, SAP, and Salesforce to tender loads, monitor costs, and track shipments.
  • Support the logistic and overall supply plan and recognize where changes in capacity requirements may impede carrier related service.
  • Address carrier-related service issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Participate in carrier performance reviews and stay updated on transportation regulations.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP and CRM tools like Salesforce is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
