The Role: Solutions Engineer
As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a critical role in the commercial sales motion. This is a highly customer-facing, individual contributor position that partners closely with Sales to drive technical validation and product alignment throughout the sales cycle.
You will help prospects clearly understand both the functional and technical value of the platform. Your ability to translate complex concepts into practical business outcomes will directly influence revenue growth.
This role is ideal for someone early to mid-career who wants to step into a high-impact position within a scaling company and grow into a senior leader over time.
What You Will Do
- Partner closely with Sales throughout the full sales cycle
- Run or support approximately 8 to 10 technical product demos per week
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for prospects
- Validate technical fit and solution feasibility
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Engineering
- Translate technical capabilities into clear business value for non-technical stakeholders
You will initially be 1 of 1 in the role, with plans to expand the team as the company scales. This creates a strong opportunity to establish best practices, shape the function, and become one of the most senior Solutions Engineers as the organization grows.
What We Are Looking For
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience, flexible up to approximately 7 years for the right candidate
- Experience running or supporting technical product demos
- Strong ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- High product fluency and confident customer-facing communication skills
- Comfortable collaborating with Sales, Product, and Engineering
- Coachable, curious, and hungry to grow
- Thrives in a fast-growing, less structured environment
Backgrounds that translate well include Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Implementation Consultant, or Technical Consultant. This is not a heavy coding role. It is ideal for someone who enjoys technical conversations and customer interaction without being purely engineering focused.
Compensation and Employment Details
- Annual salary up to $160,000
- Equity included for all employees
