Position Purpose:
Responsible for non-exempt staff serving in support roles for the second level reconsideration/dispute resolution processes.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership to employees in support of accurate and timely processing of appeals/disputes.
- Effectively and efficiently manages inventory levels and ensures the accuracy of appeal/dispute resolution case preparation and effectuation.
- Achieves operational and production goals.
- Ensures effective quality control procedures are in place and followed.
- Supervises, trains, and evaluates project work activities and personnel.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Associate’s degree or 60 or more credit hours towards a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Qualified Independent Contractor (QIC), Medicare, appeals, medical dispute or other related experience may be substituted for Associate's degree on a year per year basis. (Experience requirements may be satisfied by full-time experience or the prorated part-time equivalent.)
Experience

- Supervisory or Team Lead
- Managed Care, preferred
