What’s the job?

Production Supervisor - Under the supervision of the Plant Superintendent, the position is accountable for overseeing production crews to attain production, cost and quality goals while maintaining a safe work environment. The position is accountable for scheduling the appropriate staff, and monitoring progress and results of their specific responsibilities. This position works a 13 hour shift 5pm – 6am on 2 week schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days, on, 3 days off). Must be able to work weekends.

What do you bring?

• Education – Prefer an Associates’ or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Business Administration, Engineering, Chemical Engineering or 5+ years of manufacturing supervisory experience
• Manufacturing Leadership/Supervision experience required (5 years required)
• Ability to learn extrusion process of making vinyl siding
• Knowledge of general manufacturing safety regulations
• Ability to manage and lead people in a manufacturing environment
• Motivate and correct behaviors that are not within code of conduct
• Oversee training, coach, develop and provide feedback to employees
• Problem solve production and people issues
• Recommend continuous improvements to manufacturing process
• Administer company policies and 5S standards
