Description

CGI Federal is seeking a skilled Software Developer to design, develop, and deploy software applications that enhance business processes and streamline operations. This position is located in Arlington, VA.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and deploy software applications.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements.
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug software issues.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 16 years of experience in software development or related technical roles.
  • Strong understanding of programming languages such as JavaScript/React, C#, Python, and SQL.
  • Experience in integrating applications with various data sources and APIs.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:

  • Experience with Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Familiarity with modern development practices, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies.
  • Cloud certifications (e.g., Azure Developer, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $58,000.00 - $136,200.00.
