Junior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

We are looking for a Junior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join a rapidly growing company transforming the insurance and financial services industry. Their platform is already being used by leading financial and insurance advisory firms, and we are revolutionizing the way complex workflows are managed with cutting-edge automation and data-driven technology.

In this role, you will help design, develop, and improve automated test suites for our platform, focusing on testing APIs, web applications, and integrations in a CI/CD environment. You will work closely with the development team to ensure faster, more reliable releases, and contribute to the overall quality and efficiency of our product.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated functional, integration, and end-to-end tests for API and web-based applications.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to contribute to quality assurance strategies and ensure a balanced approach between automation and manual testing.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous feedback and faster release cycles.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and verify fixes to ensure the quality and stability of the product.

Qualifications:

• 1-5 years of experience in software development, testing, or a combination of both.
• Hands-on experience with manual testing and/or automated test frameworks.
• Familiarity with xUnit and/or Jest
• FinTech / Insurance experience is a plus
