JOB DETAILS:
Position: Production/Project Engineer (Powertrain)
JOB REF#: 44100 - 1462641
Duration: 12+ Months (On-going Contract)
Location: ONSITE - Buffalo, WV 25033
Pay Rate: $40.00 - $48.50 per hour (W2 Only)

- - This is role is 100% ONSITE, no remote work offered- -

Responsibilities include:
Developing operating process plans to machine or assemble parts for assigned area of the Powertrain department
Leading, planning, procurement, installation, trial, and launching of engine/transmission machining or assembly lines
Creating and maintaining schedule and budget for assigned areas
Develop / improve standard tools and benchmarks
Lead and participate in cross functional working groups across local facility and corporate departments to achieve project goals
Visualize activity plans and schedules to facilitate quick consensus building to secure project priorities.
Analyze critical manufacturing issues and clearly communicate root cause and countermeasure plans to stakeholders

DAILY TASKS:
Creating machine plans, defining specifications, and overseeing installation.
Manage plant definition, installation, and handover to operations.
Manage end-to-end plant setup and transition to operational teams.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Strong background in production engineering and machine installation planning.
1-5 years of hands of experience in project/process management.
Experience in process engineering, including schedule and budget management
AutoCAD experience includes the ability to read, interpret and modify.
Willingness to work required overtime and travel as needed both domestic and international
Flexibility for business travel, both domestic and international, up to 20%
Ability to work weekend and shutdown work (such as July and December holidays) as needed.
EDUCATION: Bachelor s degree in engineering, Mechanical, electrical and industrial manufacturing preferred.

DESIRED/NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:
3D CAD experience including the ability to read and interpret.
