Are you a passionate leader with a knack for optimizing production processes? We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving safety, quality, and efficiency while fostering a positive work environment. If you’re ready to make an impact, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead with Safety: Supervise hourly production employees to ensure the safe and efficient operation of production line equipment and processes.
  • Champion Safety Culture: Conduct engaging shift safety meetings to promote compliance with all safety, environmental, and health policies.
  • Empower Your Team: Monitor employee productivity, provide constructive feedback, and set performance goals that align with our organizational vision.
  • Communicate Effectively: Clearly document employee expectations, assess performance, and offer coaching and development opportunities.
  • Drive Talent Development: Oversee the training of production employees, ensuring they are well-prepared to operate manufacturing equipment safely and effectively.
  • Analyze and Improve: Assist in performing root-cause analysis and implementing sustainable solutions for production-related challenges.
  • Maintain Excellence: Ensure workplace organization and good housekeeping (5S) while holding employees accountable for their work areas.
  • Manage Timekeeping: Review and approve employee time in the UKG timekeeping system, ensuring accurate payment in line with site policies.
  • Investigate and Audit: Conduct thorough investigations of EH&S incidents, perform EHS and SMAT audits, and ensure compliance with waste management and recycling responsibilities.
  • Contribute to Safety Assessments: Participate in the development and review of job safety assessments and standard operating procedures, engaging in incident investigations to identify root causes and corrective actions.
  • Flexibility in Duties: Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (equivalent experience may be considered).
  • A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • General understanding of ISO methodology (ISO 9001, 14001, & OHSAS 18001).
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 5S, and Six Sigma is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with UKG and SAP systems preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate information and choose the best solutions.
