Step into a junior chief of staff role where you ll translate big-picture network goals into actionable roadmaps, build high-performing teams, and streamline operations across a global infrastructure. You ll liaise with C-level stakeholders, own budgeting and reporting cycles, and ensure every project pivots smoothly as priorities evolve no hands-on engineering required.
- - Responsibilities:- -
- Partner with the Network Manager to design org structure, draft mission statements, and write job descriptions that attract top talent
- Build and scale network support teams; oversee production metrics and continuous-improvement initiatives
- Own budget planning, spend tracking, and executive-level reporting
- Map vendor landscapes and guide technology choices at a strategic level
- Rapidly pivot between competing priorities while keeping projects on timeline and within scope
- Cultivate trusted relationships with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
- - Ideal Candidates Will Have:- -
- 5+ years managing IT or network teams in enterprise environments
- Proven record designing team structures and driving process improvements that cut cost or boost uptime
- Comfort translating technical concepts into board-ready briefs
- Experience with budget ownership and vendor management
- Agile mindset thrive on change and multitasking without missing beats
- - Required Skills/Experience:- -
- Managerial experience in network or infrastructure operations
- Demonstrated ability to draft organizational documents, job specs, and mission statements
- Strong financial acumen budgeting, forecasting, ROI analysis
- Excellent stakeholder communication at executive levels
- - Other Skills:- -
- Familiarity with firewalls, load balancers, SD-WAN, and vendor ecosystems (Cisco, Aruba, etc.)
- Project or program-management certification (PMP, ITIL, Scrum)
- Advanced PowerPoint/Excel for reporting and dashboards
