Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our legal team as a Legal Intern. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of legal practice within Troon, a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Program Details:

  • 12-week program in person 5 days a week at our office in North Scottsdale.
  • The intern will complete a group project alongside fellow interns from other departments.

Essential Duties:

  • Assist in legal research, drafting, and reviewing documents related to cases, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare and organize legal documents and correspondence.
  • Attend meetings and other legal proceedings to observe and provide support as needed.
  • Conduct thorough legal research using various resources such as databases, libraries, and online tools.
  • Collaborate with team members to analyze legal issues and develop strategies for resolving them.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of case files, client communications, and other relevant information.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited law school program or recent graduate.
  • Strong academic background with coursework in relevant areas of law.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research and writing.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
