Arcosa Wind Towers is searching for a Quality Assurance Inspector. As a Quality Inspector you will provide visual/measured inspections/tests of materials/products to ensure conformance with standards and determine if products meet all requirements. You’ll also complete inspection records, and report and follow appropriate codes and regulations.
Job Location: Newton, IA
What you’ll do:
- Perform inspection of complex production systems or finished product
- Complete inspection records and reports
- May inspect incoming materials or plate, outgoing materials or fittings and welds throughout the manufacturing process
- Maintain attendance within acceptable standards
What you’ll need:
- 1 year of manufacturing experience
- Technical Skills
- Proficiently utilize inspection tools and measuring equipment
- Understand defects and determine acceptance status
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred
- Read, write and speak proficiently in English

Working Conditions:
- Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds.
- This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays
- Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant
Safety Activities:
- Be aware of and observe all safety practices. Including but not limited to- Safety glasses, safety boots, hearing protection, etc… as required
- Know and follow all safety rules and procedures.
- Participate in safety committees and initiatives as assigned.
