Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking in the consumer electronics, auto, OEMs, telecom, e-commerce/retail, apps, ads, gaming, or technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
  • Experience working in the digital advertising industry.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience using or building marketing mix models (MMM), sales lift, brand lift, and multi-touch attribution products.
  • Experience working with a product management team to create and execute a complementary partnership strategy.
  • Experience partnering with ad measurement vendors, measurement-focused agencies, or ad measurement-focused consultancies.
  • Understanding of the Google Ads business and the ecosystem of measurement partners relevant to these products.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

As a Strategic Partnerships Development Associate, you'll work closely with Google Product, Engineering, Global Product Strategy, Marketing, sales, Finance, and Legal teams to manage advertiser measurement engagements and day-to-day relationships with our top measurement partners. You will work within the key product areas of media effectiveness partnerships and Google and partner-owned media mix models, incrementality experiments, multi-touch attribution, and brand lift experiments.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $85,500-$123,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Help our partners and advertisers connect to generate measurement that drives value for our advertising clients in the form of accurate insights to optimize their media mix across Google Ads and other ad platforms.
  • Work cross-functionally to meet goals with key partners, ensure stakeholders receive regular progress reports on programs and partnerships, and troubleshoot systemic and ad hoc blockers to study completion or program progress.
  • Identify the evolving priorities of our partners, help to develop strategy, and occasionally sign foundational agreements in support of new product initiatives.
  • Understand internal product roadmaps, the needs of our sales and product teams, and the evolving strategies and objectives of our partners.
  • Become an expert on each top partner for which you are responsible, developing a deep understanding of their organizational structure, product roadmap, business strategy, and key clients.
