Description

Flexjet is currently seeking a Microsoft Power Platform Developer who will be responsible for providing guidance and engineering solutions to fulfill business requirements using industry’s best practices and in accordance with architectural standards and engineering methodology.

The Microsoft Power Platform Developer will be responsible for developing custom business solutions using SharePoint, the Power Platform, and other Microsoft 365 collaboration tools. The ideal candidate for the role will possess deep knowledge and proficiency in the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), to automate workflows, create custom applications, and analyze data. Key responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements, developing low-code/no-code solutions, integrating with other systems like Microsoft 365 and Azure, and troubleshooting issues. In addition to new solutions, this position's main function includes assessment, troubleshooting, upgrading, maintenance, and improvement of existing solutions.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborates directly with Team Lead, Product Owner and business stakeholders to clarify and further define the backlog and prioritization of work.
  • Effectively documenting all his/her own work for knowledge sharing within the team as well as the wider IT organization.
  • Create custom applications, dashboards, and automated workflows using Power Platform tools.
  • Work with business users and stakeholders to understand and document their needs for new solutions.
  • Integrate data from various sources using Power Platform connectors and manage it within Dataverse.
  • Extend Power Platform capabilities by using Power Fx, JavaScript, and integrating with Azure services.
  • Test solutions thoroughly and manage their deployment and lifecycle within the production environment.
  • Provide ongoing support for Power Platform applications, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Work effectively in a team environment with other developers, project managers, and business analysts.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of professional focus in Power Apps and Power Automate development
  • Proficiency in Power Apps development, including Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, and Power Automate.
  • Experience with SQL, relational databases, and data integration.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Familiarity with custom connectors and APIs for integrating external data sources into Power Apps.
  • Knowledge of best practices for app performance optimization and security within the Power Apps platform.
  • Development background with Microsoft development technologies such as SQL Server, SSRS, C#, .NET, JavaScript, or HTML5.
  • Experience with Azure Dev Ops (ADO) for Agile workflow processes
  • Visual Studio, GitHub, Azure DevOps, or other source control management tools
