Description

The Distributor Contractor Manger (DCM) is a results driven sales and relationship leader, responsible for managing and expanding CertainTeed Architectural Ceiling and Wall Systems products across assigned territory to meet assigned sales goals.

The DCM oversees strategic partnerships with distributors and contractors to drive product adoption, increase market share, and support project success from specification through installation.

The role involves territory planning, forecasting, and channel development while providing technical expertise on CertainTeed acoustic ceiling and wall solutions by ensuring distributors and contractors are trained and aligned.


As a DCM, you work directly under the District Manager and with guidance from the Regional Sales Manager. You're empowered to make decisions to grow your business in a highly complex and fast paced environment under direction of management, company policies, applicable federal/state laws (including Anti-Trust legislation), and Saint Gobain Code of Ethics and Standards.
IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

  • HS Diploma or GED, required
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in building materials, commercial construction, or architectural product sales
  • Strong understanding of distributor and contractor sales channels
  • Excellent communication, organization, presentation, and relationship building skills
  • Ability to read construction documents, specifications, and architectural drawings

Certain states require pay information be provided in job postings. The national pay range for this position is $79,500 to $123,500 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 30% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The total target cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $103,300 to $160,500.
