Senior Backend Engineer (f/m/d)

About the role

As Senior Backend Engineer in our teams, you’ll shape the core of our product. You’ll own backend features end-to-end – from building and scaling integrations (Facebook, Google, Zapier) to fine-tuning performance and reliability with Node.js, MongoDB and Redis. Help users connect their funnels to CRMs, analytics tools and more – making their workflows seamless. Work autonomously, collaborate closely and ship features with real customer feedback, not guesswork.

What you’ll be doing

• Develop and improve features with a focus on security, performance and testing
• Own core parts of the software and drive concepts from idea to execution
• Collaborate across teams to solve real business challenges and build impactful solutions
• Ensure service health through monitoring, logging, alerting, and infrastructure reliability
• Continuously refine systems through documentation, scaling practices, and database optimization
• Proactively engage in team rituals, advocate for improvements, and prioritize high-impact initiatives

Who you are

• You have 5+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer, with solid Node.js and TypeScript skills
• You’re deeply motivated to own, analyze, and improve critical backend systems in a SaaS environment
• You’ve worked with MongoDB in production, understand queue systems, and are familiar with REST and other API standards
• You bring strong problem-solving skills and a sharp eye for business-relevant bottlenecks
• You manage cross-team projects effectively and deliver reliably under time constraints
• You’re fluent in English and experienced in building and scaling APIs using best practices like SOLID, DRY, and KISS
