The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) is Sri Lanka’s independent body fighting bribery and corruption, established by an Act, now enhanced by the 2023 Anti-Corruption Act, expanding its scope to money laundering, private sector bribery, and more, with powers to investigate, direct prosecutions, and compel evidence, ensuring public officials and others act ethically.
