Description
We are looking for a Sales & Partnerships Lead to join our small FinTech company at a key inflection point. We are rebuilding our platforms entirely after nearly 10 years, following 2 years of planning and execution. You’ll join with strong momentum already in place: 100%+ YoY revenue growth, 25,000+ monthly active users, 5,000 leads in backlog, 250+ partners, ~100 inbound leads/month without outreach, and up to 30 monthly renewals.
Your mission is to build the sales team from scratch and take full ownership of revenue growth, sales strategy, the full pipeline, coaching Partnership Managers, and partnership negotiations. This is a rare opportunity to join an established business in hyper-growth, where you will build the Sales Division from the ground up and grow into senior leadership as the team scales. You will earn a quarterly growth bonus on top of your base salary, directly tied to results, so you must be highly numbers-driven, analytical, and performance-focused. You can earn an uncapped quarterly growth bonus of up to 50% (!) of sustained net growth.
The founder will support you with recruiting and overall vision. You will work closely with the founder to package and bundle products, and to create new partner-relevant product and service offerings.
You must be strong at managing people in a fully remote setup, running daily check-ins, keeping the team motivated, and handling issues or conflicts directly as they arise. You will be hands-on in sales while coaching performance and giving clear 1:1 feedback when needed. You will fully own the sales team so the founder can focus on the other divisions of the business.
Onboarding Plan:
- Review the Sales Division and gain the insights needed to understand our platforms and product offerings
- Set up and optimize our HubSpot CRM, including the full sales pipeline, renewals process, templates, and all supporting workflows needed to scale sales
- Two Partnership Managers will be ready to onboard once you give the green light
- Define the initial sales team size and hiring plan to ensure sustainable team growth and execution from day one
Responsibilities:
- Own revenue growth and commercial performance across all platforms
- Define and execute sales strategy, targets, and quarterly growth plan
- Own the full sales pipeline: outreach, lead management, negotiations, closing, and upsells/renewals
- Close key deals personally while building and leading a small remote sales team (player-coach role)
- Acquire new partners through outbound outreach and negotiations (rev share, CPA, hybrid)
- Grow and manage our affiliate & business partner portfolio (retention + upsells)
- Improve partner contracts and commercial terms (T&Cs, IOs, affiliate agreements)
- Coach and performance-manage Partnership Managers through daily check-ins and 1:1s
- Handle team issues and conflicts directly and ensure high execution quality in a remote setup
- Own the team’s bonus and incentive structure, including accelerator bonuses on top of our sales system
- Represent the company during annual business trips and industry events

Requirements:
- Proven experience leading revenue growth and owning sales performance (targets, pipeline, forecasting)
- Proven experience closing deals personally while managing and coaching a sales team (player-coach)
- Proven experience building and managing a remote sales team with strong execution (daily check-ins, 1:1s)
- Proven experience negotiating partnership/commercial agreements (rev share, CPA, hybrid structures)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (written and spoken)
- Nice to have: Experience with HubSpot
Compensation:
- Base salary: $4,000–$5,000/month (depending on experience)
- Quarterly growth bonus: uncapped
- On-target earnings (OTE): $7,000–$10,000/month
- Upside: $10,000+/month by maintaining our 2-year growth trend
