Responsibilities

• Responsible for disassembly, inspecting, repairing and reassembling equipment on customer rolls.
• Read and understand process sheet and paperwork to determine specifications.
• Disassembles and repairs necessary parts on customer equipment using appropriate tools. This may include drilling, tapping, using a torch, cleaning and removing bearings and cleaning parts.
• Reassembles equipment to customer specifications.
• Maintains a clean work area.
• Conforms to safety and inspection requirements.
• Complete daily paperwork.

Qualifications/Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years experience helpful, will train qualified candidate
• Ability to read and use tape measures, calipers and micrometers, including metric measurements.
• Good mechanical aptitude and mechanical experience with good working knowledge and experience with powered hand tools.
• Knowledge of hydraulics helpful.
• Experience using lift trucks and overhead cranes desired.
• Must be able to lift 50-60 lbs. and work up to 12 hour shift on concrete floor.
• Ability to train for operation of all machines.
