Description

Our Inside Sales Team Manager will lead a remote team of inside sellers and is central to driving revenue through digital channels and leveraging modern sales tools to expand the customer base. This role must bring a blend of product knowledge, team leadership, and a passion for digital transformation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead Inside Sales Team: Lead and inspire the Inside Sales team providing guidance, coaching, and support to maximize performance and professional growth. Set clear sales targets and KPIs for the team and provide regular feedback to ensure goals are met.
  • Drive Sales: Champion digital sales initiatives through online portals, eCommerce platforms, and CRM-integrated tools. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue, expand the customer base, and achieve sales objectives. Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed sales forecasts and strategic decisions.
  • Digital Commerce Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing and Product Development, to align efforts and optimize sales strategies.
  • Customer Experience: Support omnichannel customer engagement by aligning digital sales touchpoints with customer expectations. Foster strong relationships with key clients and prospects, understanding their needs, and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Performance Analytics: Utilize dashboards and analytics tools to track KPIs, team productivity, and sales funnel performance. Provide regular reporting to leadership. Continuously evaluate and refine sales processes to improve efficiency and productivity and keep informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify potential opportunities and challenges.

Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to lead a team and exceed revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of digital sales tools and eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Packaging Engineering, or related field preferred.

Work Experience:

  • 3-5 years of related experience of successful supervisory/management experience required to motivate and develop direct reports, as well as size up new talent.
  • 5-10 years of related job experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.
  • Experienced in providing leadership to others regarding work related systems, processes, and challenges.
  • Experience of interpreting strategy and policy in order to set and deliver objectives.
  • Experience of planning, managing and organizing resources within short/medium timescales within the overall policy framework.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM is preferred.
  • Must be highly motivated, flexible and deadline driven.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful).
  • Strong planning and organization skills are required.
  • Strong problem-solving and attention to detail skills are required.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • A significant portion of the job responsibilities will require computer work that involves the continuous use of the fingers, hands, wrists, and sitting for long periods of time.
  • The position also requires frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.
  • The position requires work in an office as well as travel to customers, suppliers, group meetings, etc.
