Financial Analyst

Our client, a leader in the health industry is hiring a Financial Analyst to support financial analysis projects to assist the CFO. This role supports the hospital by analyzing financial data, preparing budgets, and providing insights to improve operational efficiency and profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze hospital financial reports and statements.
• Develop and manage the hospital’s annual budget aligned with strategic goals.
• Evaluate investment opportunities and prepare financial feasibility analyses.
• Prepare clear reports and presentations for management and the Board of Trustees.
• Monitor operational costs and identify opportunities for cost control and efficiency.
• Review contracts to ensure reasonable terms and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate on financial audits and regulatory reporting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP) and healthcare regulations.
• Assist in financial projections and variance analysis to support decision-making.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the CFO.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant financial experience, preferably in healthcare industry.
• Strong analytical and communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
