Senior Finance Manager

Communications Agency in Chicago, IL is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join their finance team.

Senior Finance Manager Responsibilities:

• Senior Finance manager will lead quarterly forecasting discussions on assigned accounts
• Successfully assist with Monthly P&L Analysis
• Work with local office leadership and management with monthly/quarterly reporting
• Act as a liaison between teams on job creation, budget set up and all aspects of billing.
• Successfully review client scopes to confirm accuracy with rates, pricing, and business terms.
• Maintain trackers for Purchase orders and monthly revenue
• Senior Finance manager will drive monthly revenue recognition calculation
• Ensure that work in progress is cleared in a timely and orderly manner, client documentation/PO’s are secured, and oversees duration of the project lifecycle. Includes preparation of ETC documentation and proper revenue recognition
• Senior Finance Manager will manage Accounts Receivables
• Ability to provide accountability and counsel related to change order management
• Train and ensure project management and account staff are adhering to financial
• Provide financial insights for recurring business reviews with key stakeholders
• Senior Finance Manager will provide ad hoc financial data necessary for leaders to make informed decisions
• Provide financial onboarding to staff to help educate on financial literacy.
• Process office level revenue and expense entries for shared services
• Help support client, internal audits and ad-hoc requests as needed

Senior Finance Manager Qualifications:

• 6+ years’ experience (Agency/Services industry preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree, preferable in finance or accounting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong proficiency in excel
• SAP experience preferred

Salary range: $95,000-$110,000
