Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive financial analysis, developing reports, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis including cash flow analysis, profit & loss statements, and budgeting processes to support operational and strategic initiatives
• Develop and maintain financial models using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Pivot tables, VBA, and advanced data visualization techniques with Tableau, Power BI, and other business intelligence platforms
• Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for management, utilizing financial report writing skills to communicate complex data clearly
• Collect, organize, and analyze large datasets through SQL, ERP systems, and other financial software to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement
• Support strategic planning by providing insights through forecasting, quantitative research, and scenario analysis using tools like Hyperion and other financial systems
• Assist with compliance related to corporate accounting, governmental accounting, and adherence to internal controls
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects involving business analysis, cost accounting, and investment banking activities
• Stay current with industry trends by leveraging tools such as Bloomberg for market data and economic indicators

Experience

• Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role within corporate finance, investment banking, or governmental accounting environments
• Extensive proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like formulas, macros, and data modeling
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Strong understanding of financial concepts including budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and profit & loss analysis
• Familiarity with financial software such as Hyperion, ERP systems, and Bloomberg Terminal is highly desirable
• Knowledge of quantitative research methods, business intelligence techniques, and strategic planning processes
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets into actionable insights
• Strong communication skills for preparing reports and presenting findings to stakeholders

Pay: $68,371.53 - $82,339.91 per year
