This role can be located at any of our CGI Federal Offices.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs, middleware, and third-party tools.
Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce applications and workflows.
Ensure data integrity and security across all Salesforce environments.
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities.
Stay current with Salesforce platform updates and best practices.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development.
Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, and Lightning Web Components.
Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (Developer II preferred).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Experience Cloud.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience working in a government or federal contracting environment.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,000.00 - $176,300.00.
