Description
CGI Federal is seeking a Management Analyst II with experience in Cognos, SharePoint, and Business Analytics to support the Executive Office for Immigration Review - Board of Immigration Appeals (EOIR/BIA) in Falls Church, VA.
The position supports the DOJ's Executive Office for Immigration Review - Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), which is the highest administrative body for interpreting and applying immigration laws. The BIA is authorized up to 21 Board Members, including the Chairman and Vice Chairman, who share responsibility for BIA management. Located at EOIR headquarters in Falls Church, Virginia, the BIA generally does not conduct courtroom proceedings but decides appeals through a "paper review" of cases. This Management Analyst II role supports EOIR - BIA by assisting with reporting and analytics, working in a fast-paced environment with a direct impact on immigration processing nationwide.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Compiling caseload statistics and other data related to unit performance in consultation with or on behalf of the client.
- Contacting vendors to resolve identified discrepancies as directed.
- Providing forecasting and associated data/graphics upon request.
- Utilizing vendor management and case tracking databases to conduct queries.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- Strong analytical and deductive reasoning skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Attention to detail.
- Experience with Cognos, SharePoint, and Business Analytics.
- Candidates must be able to pass a CGI Federal background investigation, obtain a DOJ MRPT clearance, and must be a U.S. Citizen.
Hourly Rate: $28.79/hour
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors including but not limited to: skill set level, relevant experience and training, and licensure and certifications. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
