Description

Meyer Utility Structures (MUS) is searching for a Materials Planner/Scheduler II. In this role, you will manage the Fort Worth utility pole manufacturing plant’s inventory and ensure material resources are consistent with the production schedules. This position's responsibilities include determining material specifications, creating, and maintaining inventory schedules, and coordinating with internal departments.

What You’ll Do:

  • Ensure the output of transportation management centralized processes meets solution design specifications and customer requirements
  • Proactively monitor and manage key performance indicators and execute root cause analysis utilizing transportation management operating systems
  • Execute analysis and data preparation in support of sales activities
  • Provide all support function activities, including accuracy and timeliness of data processing, reporting, analysis, and all other customer-specific inquiries
  • Cohesively work with internal SME(s) to resolve problems and/or support implementations
  • Process and distribute weekly customer metrics and develop customer performance reports
  • Responsible for maintaining the master production schedule, monitoring workflow to identify and resolve capacity constraints, and ensuring on-time delivery of production commitments.
  • Ability to interact with clients in resolving problems and coordinating implementations

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • A minimum 3 or more year of transportation operations experience, including carrier management, transportation planning, project management, and logistics analysis, is required for this position
  • Intermediate - Advanced skills in MS Office Products, i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
