Collections Analyst

Responsibilities of the Collections Analyst:

• Reconciliations of payments
• Making business to business collections calls – around 60 call per day
• Contact customers through both telephone and written communication to bring accounts to current status
• Work with client to develop ability to negotiate payment plans with delinquent accounts
• When encountering discrepancies, investigate and develop ability to offer solutions to resolve delinquent accounts, such as terms change and/or late delivery of goods or services

Qualifications of the Collections Analyst:

• Bachelor's or Associates degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field preferred.
• 1-3+ years of accounting or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Excel proficiency: formulas, spread sheets, pivot tables are a plus.
