Key Responsibilities of the Billing Specialist

• Own complete billing process for a dedicated department
• Manage client trusts, billing, collections, and cash application in a centralized ERP (AccountAbility)
  • Example: Money is received for client, a management fee is subtracted, remainder stays in client trust to pay high profile clients / support production costs
• Coordinate with sales, legal, and finance to ensure accurate agreements and reporting
• Lead preparation and presentation of A/R aging, collections status, and department financials
• Serve as main point of contact for vendor onboarding and payment remittance processes

Must-Have Skills/Experience

• 1–3+ years in billing, collections, or cash applications; direct experience running the full billing cycle
• Industry experience in entertainment, agency, public relations, or law—OR strong transferable skills in related high-volume, multi-stakeholder environments
• Proficiency with Excel (XLOOKUP, pivot tables) and ERP systems
