Video Coordinator

Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics, a Division I and Big Ten Conference Institution, is seeking candidates for the position of Video Coordinator.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Produce, direct, and coordinate live streams and live video board events in our sports venues.
• Provide assistance to video directors/coordinators for video board and live streaming productions.
• Produce athletic video content for live streams and LED display playback.
• Oversee the basic maintenance, regularly scheduled software updates and simple repairs to production equipment.
• Supervise/manage/train/recruit up to 75 part-time employees and production interns.

Preferred knowledge:

• Sports and technical directing.
• Associate producing and directing.
• Basic video engineering.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONSIf filled as Media Production Specialist - Professional, this position requires: Associate Degree No prior relevant work experience required; previous relevant work experience accepted in lieu of education. Required Certifications: None If filled as Media Production Specialist - Intermediate Professional, this position requires: Associate Degree 2+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: None

BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCESEmployment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.

SALARY & BENEFITSThe salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $42,100.00 - $67,300.00.
