Litigation Assistant

$16.66 minimum starting pay

Job Level: Individual Contributor

Shelter maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in geographic location, education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. What You Will Be Doing:

Provide assistance to Litigation Attorneys with the management of Claims Litigation to ensure timely processing of lawsuits, determination of coverage, and proper reserving of claims. Maintain litigation files, records, and documentation. Provide other assistance to Litigation Attorneys.

What We're Looking For:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain schedules, meet deadlines, communicate effectively, and work well with others.
• English, typing and general business courses as would be acquired at the high school level course of study.
• General knowledge of insurance and the legal system.
• Proficient and accurate typing skills.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
